Keith and Christine tied the knot on a beautiful summers day in July. They first met twelve years ago and both were and still are keen members of St. Brigid’s Gaa club. Keith popped the question much to Christine’s surprise in the most amazing and romantic setting of the Iguazu Falls in Brazil last year. She said yes and I met them both some months back…lucky me to be a part of such a fantastic day with a great couple.Christine bought her stunning dress, veil and a lot of her accessories from Ciara Bridal, www.ciarabridal.ie in the Powerscourt townhouse Centre in Dublin. After much fun in Christine’s family home, we headed to St. Brigid’s Church just two minutes away for what was a very beautiful and emotional ceremony. Christine looked absolutely beautiful!
I was delighted to see one of Christine’s friends arrive in the church grounds in her vintage Volklwagon van complete with bubbles. It made for great photos. Then all roads led to the beautiful Moyvalley Hotel (www.moyvalley.com.) Guests were serenaded to the sounds of a four piece band Loco swing adding to an already fantastic mood.
It was a real pleasure to have been given the opportunity to shoot Keith and Christine’s wedding day. We later got some quiet time when all of the guests were called to dinner and had the whole of the old house to ourselves and I was able to use the old staircase and the amazing window light for some special shots.
Dinner was served and Keith and Christine joined all of their family and friends for the best party of their lives!!
